Dr. Eltaraboulsi is a superb, extremely kind doctor and always carefully listens to my concerns

Dr.Eltaraboulsi is the best! -Kind, caring, thorough, and so knowledgeable! As far as I'm concerned, he Is the best In Charlotte! I am grateful that he takes such good care of my pulmonary problems.

We were scheduled for this appointment because of an ER visit. Dr. E and his team coordinated with the ER doctor about what tests to run on the fluid that was drained from my husband's lungs during a thoracentesis. So It was very disconcerting and upsetting when Dr.E breezes in and starts asking me what meds my husband is on; what surgeries he's had, etc. Couldn't he have taken the time and care to review my husband's chart? My husband takes over 20+ meds a day! I do manage his care but I'm not a medical professional. There was no mention of the fluid test results & I had to ask several times. The worst was that he decided to double his daily amount of Lazix without giving me warnings to also watch his potassium levels by giving him bananas or orange juice. (I learned this through my own research!) He said for us to come back in a week & we would discuss a new plan of action. BUT, he failed to tell us he WAS ON VACATION FOR THE NEXT WEEK.
