The FNP-Tara was excellent. Based on the conversation, I could tell she was prepared and had spent time reviewing my sister in law's health information. She was extremely thorough, taking time to help her fill at ease. Since we were new to this location, Tara took time answering questions, making sure we were clear on the path forward and follow up needs. I really appreciated her directing conversation toward my sister in law, getting responses, making her feel part of the dialog in the room. I could tell my sister in law was relaxed in this new environment and comfortable the medical staff engaging with her.

Tara, the FNP was wonderful. This is the 1st time I have had an opportunity to fully engage with an FNP for ongoing services. I was concerned since I am a senior and sometimes providers can make you feel rushed and unheard. I didnot experience that with Tara or any of the staff. I welcomed and appreciated that. Since this was our initial visit, Tara took her time and demonstrated that she was interested in getting to know me as a person and a patient. She was professional, methodical, thorough, patient, and friendly, asking my opinion as we discussed my conditions. Did she have other patients that day? Yes. Did I feel like the only one she was focused on that day, during those few minutes? Yes. She took her time in addressing concerns, providing explanations and offering options. Like my previous Novant provider(whose retiring) I experienced two-way dialog about my care and It was refreshing to know I may have chosen a wonderful replacement.
