My first visit to a cardiologist was stressful and scary. From the moment Dr Winslow he put me at complete ease. He was not only very personable and professional. He explain everything so that both my wife and I understood everything and listened and answered all our questions. If I could all my medical needs met by this doctor I would jump to on the opportunity.

All good. No wait. Dr Joshua Winslow listened to me, read all the material I brought with me, and had read the material on file in Novant?s computer system. He made a good plan of care. I checked with my fam doc, since he has known me for 15 years. He concurs with Dr Winslow. Only issue was that I spent time on my computer completing a bunch of forms. The intake tech asked me the same questions. My Farxiga script needs to be adjusted, as I am going to Dubai and India from 1/20 to 2/15/2025. I can get another 30 day supply on 1/13, so I?ll run out in India. What is solution? Maybe a 90 day supply. Please let me know. Thanks.

Dr. Winslow saved my life by diagnosing my mitral valve problem which was severe. He was straight forward, answering all my questions and getting me to the best surgeon. The staff at Bolivia Novant Heart is excellent as well.

When checking in, the person checking you in announces your birthday to make sure it’s is correct. More quietly would be appropriate.

Not only did all the staff at the office all treat me with respect, they were very helpful. For example, I had a problem getting my lab reports to the doctor. After I came home, I had an email that a lab report was ready, so I called, and Dawn at the office contacted me about it and I was able to fax the report to her for the doctor's review. That is going above and beyond in my opinion. I would highly recommend this office and facility.

I really appreciate Dr. Winslow and his co workers. I wish making an appt was not so difficult. I am to see him every 6 months and it is a bit of an ordeal to get an appt.

This was my first appointment with a cardiologist, and I was very pleased with his care and listening to me about my symptoms. I left the appointment feeling less anxious then when I first met with the medical team.

My doctor is experienced nd thorough and answered every question or concern I had in a clear manner. I did not feel he was in a hurry like I sometimes feel with other physicians

Completely professional from front desk to doctor.

The appointment was right on time, the nurse was personable and professional. The doctor was detailed, record my medications and discussed adjusting my meds and dosages answering all my questions. I was very pleased, as I have been in the past with this practitioner.

I'm listened to, made to feel like a friend, not talked down to but educated on how to stay or get healthy.

My experience was a pleasant one. Treated with kindness and respect.

Dr. Winslow was fabulous. He took time to explain the symptoms and what to do in case of a stroke. He understood our reluctance to add a prescription and gave a compromise!
