My primary care did a lab work on me, which stated my iron levels were elevated. A referral was made to see Dr. Kannan. When my labs were done again at the hematologist office, Dr. Kannan clarified that I actually have low iron and I am slight anemic. Which has always been an issue for me. Dr. Kannan, took the time to go over the factors of my iron levels being elevated when I did the blood work at my primary care office. I may have ate something that was high in iron or my lab work had to be warmed up in order to show the correct results. I also appreciate how Dr. Kannan didn't let me leave her office until my lab work and diagnosis were accurate. This shows the knowledge and compassion, she has for her work and her patients.
