Kummer is a great doctor

Dr. Kummer is professional and courteous. He takes time to listen and to explain what is needed for my best shirt and long-term health!

Unable to get my money back for FMLA forms that were supposed to be filled out but never were. I paid money for the forms to be filled out. They had questions to ask me before the forms could be filled out. After two months of phone tag because of an overexcessive amount of patient privacy and inability to connect, I finally was able to receive an indication of what they wanted to ask. It seems I had to be present for the papers to be signed. Is that all they wanted to ask but couldn't simply leave me a voicemail or text? When after three months, it came time for a regular appointment with my doctor, I said new information from my company and their FMLA policy has changed and that I would probably not need the forms filled out after all. The forms were returned to me unsigned and when I asked about getting my money back, they said they would have to ask their supervisor. I have not heard anything more. Conclusion: Novant Health takes your money for forms to be filled out, but returns the forms to you months later - not filled out, and keeps the money. I have a growing dissatisfaction with how Novant Health does business.

I waited 45 minutes in my room and no one came back to let me know what was going on.

Waiting time between patients (50 mins.) is too long to set in the examination room.

I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kummer because of discomfort due to gallstones. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. Dr. Kummer listened to the symptoms I had and asked questions. He was able to get blood work done before Lab Corp picked up for the day. He also sent in a request for an ultrasound asap. I was very satisfied with my visit.
