All staff from reception, lab, nurse, doctor, to check out were awesome. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, caring. Be very proud of your staff.

I have stage IV cancer and have been able to survive for 16 years when the original prognosis was pretty dim. Dr. Thomas Grote is one of a kind. He and my heavenly Father have kept me here and I trust Dr. Grote copletely. I want the best for him and he is due a retirement, but I am hopeful you can ienify physicians that have not only an exceellen Medical skill but personal skills as wll. Dr. Grote treated the whole patient and thst process bore really positive resuls. I cried at oour last meeting and although I rust his team and his selecrion process upper ,management needs to not just worry about the dollars but the lives and well being of those you treat. I have never known a Physician like Dr. Grote and if there were and Academy Award for Physicians, he would surely sweep that category of Caring and Effective Physician. Thank you Betty Johnson Hicks

Dr. Grote and his staff are wonderful and such a blessing to me, every time I see them. I do not know what I will do when Dr. Grote retires. I have complete trust in him! I appreciate the whole Novant Oncology Department. I would like to compliment Abigail at check in as well. She is so caring and pleasant. I appreciate how concerned she is with my day there and always says she hopes my day goes well. I drive from Wilkesboro and so miss Dr. Grote being in Wilkes, but because of care I receive at Novant, I am willing to drive, even though it is a hardship to drive fifty miles there and back. You have an Oncology Department of which you can be proud.

From beginning to end I was treated with extreme courtesy. Everyone was professional and friendly. I felt comfortable for what has been a journey. I have been blessed to have such a fantastic group of medical professionals taking care of me.

My visit with Dr. Grote went extremely well as usual. He has seen me through some of the worst times of my life when I had cancer, He and his staff took great care of me and I have been cancer free for almost 6 years. I would refer anyone I know to him and to Novant Hospital. He will always be special to me.
