My time with Mary Jackson was useful and she listened and responded to my questions/concerns. The person who walked me to the exam room, asked medical questions, took vitals, etc. was all business and she seemed rushed and uninterested in my feelings or care. No empathy. It was a very bad start to my appointment.

I had to initiate this appointment when I was not contacted by Novant that an in person appointment annually was required. I got a pacemaker, had follow up, covid hit and I fell off the notification list. Remote downloads from my pacemaker have occurred but no in person with medical staff until this appointment.

I was upset because I had to go across the street to get blood work.

Very professional. Listened. Immediately scheduled other needed tests and followed up after the visit to personally make a minor medication adjustment. Took the time, without being asked, to send bloodwork results to nephrologist following me due to concerning findings.

Wait time was short; everyone was nice. I thought the visit would be more about my pacemaker, I guess, but I'm having no problems with it anyway. It was a very good experience.
