My father, John W. Metcalf, was a small-town OB-GYN in Ohio. Seeing his commitment to medicine is what originally inspired me to explore the field. When I discovered orthopedics, I knew that I had found the perfect specialty for me. Being an orthopedic trauma surgeon gives me regular opportunities to help my patients during some of the hardest moments of their lives and to allow them to see a future beyond their injury.

Ben was very knowledgeable, professional, discussed things with me and answered my questions. I liked his manner in the hospital and he was the same in the office. Dr. Cannada was her usual upbeat self. She has a great personality for this work and obviously enjoys it. She went a little more in depth on what Ben explained. She never rushed me and made sure I understood everything.
