About

My mom was a pharmacist, and I loved hearing her talk about both medicine and her relationships with the patients who relied on her. That launched my interest in a medical career. Going on a medical mission trip to Costa Rica in college helped me understand the difference I could make in the lives of others, and showed me that medical school was the right path for me. Pediatrics came naturally to me when I got to train in that field, and I quickly realized it was the right specialty for me.
