Stephanie Elkins, MD

Stephanie answered all my concerns. She explains everything well and shows concern for patients trust her completely.

Dr. Elkins has been my primary care doctor since 2021. She is compassionate and knowledgeable about my rare autoimmune disease and communicates with my Rheumatologist. She is a critical member of my care team and very easy to talk with.

This was my annual. It's a very short visit (10 minutes maybe), which seems too short. Dr Elkins does a good job of chatting to catch up. I had questions about a recent prescription and she was caring, explained her reasoning and offered another if my infection didn't clear. I didn't need a pal smear but didn't realize until I left that she didn't do a breast exam. Maybe my visit is so short because I'm healthy overall. I'd also prefer getting bloodwork done before the visit so results can be discussed in person rather than through MyChart. I think she is a good Dr and she is very responsive. The "fair" on recommending her is for annuals and reflects my opinion that the visits are short and done without the advance bloodwork.
