About

When I was young, I was fortunate to have a neighbor, a surgeon, who took on the role of mentoring me. I learned about his work and became interested in the medical field. In college, I worked in the operating room of my local hospital where I got to observe various procedures and became particularly interested in urology. Kidney stones were especially fascinating to me. This is what led me to urology as a specialty.
