This appt was for my 93 yr old dad and we were referred to this office. it is an hour drive from his home. After dx I considered that since it was a hour drive we would look for appt closer to home. But we were so pleased with this appt we will willingly drive the hour

I was really nervous when I got to my appointment, but was really impressed with how Dr. Rickey already knew everything about what was going on with me. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me in detail and also provided me with options for the procedure I am having. He made sure I understood everything about each option. He also took time to talk to me about everything else that's going on in life which was nice. It was definitely a positive experience, especially when he is going to be doing surgery on me, it was exactly what I needed to help me trust him and his team. I did not feel rushed by him or anyone else in his office. I left the appointment with a solid understanding of the plan going forward with my treatment, which is not always the case when leaving a doctor's office.
