You could say that I come from a medical family. My father and grandfather were physicians, and my mother is a nurse. I saw the impact all these relatives had on our community, and I knew I wanted to have a similar impact. Later, when I began to take a deeper interest in science, I saw my path to making an impact was also through medicine. I chose family medicine to practice as full a scope of medicine as possible while caring for entire families.

Dr Almeida is the 1st doc we found upon moving to area this past Sept. She is excellent at all the aspects of care mentioned in this survey. She is professional & clearly the doctor in all our interactions & conversations. But my comfort level is huge with her, so I completely open up with any & all concerns etc. It's like talking with a best friend who happens to be a top-notch doc.
