Growing up in Nepal, I lived in a close-knit community where people valued caring for one another. That environment inspired me to pursue medicine and a career focused on making a meaningful difference in people's lives. That led me first to medical school in Nepal, and then to the United States where I completed my family medicine residency.

While I appreciate the referrals Dr. B did process and her explanations during the visit, I came in with a comprehensive list of about 10 health goals and specialist referrals I needed to establish my care. She cut my list in half and deferred the rest because she felt we didn't have enough time, which was frustrating as a new patient trying to get all my baseline medical needs organized
