I knew I wanted to be a doctor when I was in sixth grade, and I specialized in cardiology because we have state of the art technology to both diagnose and treat heart problems.

I joined Novant Health in 1999 and have enjoyed building long-term relationships with my patients ever since. I am an interventional and general cardiologist and treat coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease.

I really like the fact that Dr. Harris came into the room and introduced himself to me. He then asked me about myself. I felt like he took the time to get to know me as a person before he addressed any medical issues or concerns I had. That went a long way in making me feel comfortable with him, and I felt like he truly cared about me as a person and what medical issues I may have. I have not had this experience in a long time in any doctors office. I would highly recommend him as a cardiologist to anyone who would ask and will definitely return to him should I have any future problems.
