I have spent my career caring for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments, from newborns coming in for wellness visits to older adults navigating a stroke diagnosis. My path into nursing and, later, nurse practitioner practice grew out of years spent at the bedside, where I saw firsthand how much patients and families need a steady, knowledgeable partner in their care.
