Growing up I knew I wanted to be part of a profession that gave me a strong sense of purpose and allowed me an opportunity to have a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of others. One of the best places to do that is in the fight against cancer; and one of the best ways to help cancer patients is to involve them in the decisions surrounding their care.

Dr. Ross is the BEST! I told him this during my appointment repeatedly too :), his ability to use everyday analogies, e.g., 31 flavors, really helped me understand what could have been a deer in the headlight' moment for me but he took the time to explain in so thoroughly and patiently that although my insurance recommended another provider, I'm staying with Dr. Ross. You can't put a price on working with someone who cares and wants to get you through this. He was sure to include me in all the decisions while ensuring I know the risks along the way. When I get through this, it'll be due to Dr. Ross's diligence, kindness and commitment to me coming out the other side healthy and ready to move on.

Dr Ross was amazing! He took his time discussing my issues and explained everything very well! He took his time and included my husband in the conversations. I left feeling very confident and comfortable with the decision we made for surgery.
