My path to neurology was shaped by both a lifelong curiosity about science and a personal experience. During medical school, a close friend was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), and that experience changed the direction of my career. It gave me a profound understanding of what patients, and their families, face when living with a complex neurological condition, and it deepened my commitment to specializing in that area.
