When I rotated through the specialty during my training, I quickly became aware of the deep impact that an ob-gyn can have on patients. Dr. Balavage was extremely thorough and seemed as invested in my health as I am. She went above and beyond to refer me for additional screening and to offer me pain management options for my future IUD replacement.

She listened to and addressed all of my concerns. She was very empathetic and helpful. She provided me with a thorough explanation of options and risks associated with each one. She left my decision to my discretion which I greatly appreciate. She did not push for a specific outcome and just focused on giving me as much information about everything as she could.
