While some people associate doctors with sick care, my hope is that my patients know they can come to me both when they are not feeling well, and when they are looking for ways to live a healthier life. I chose internal medicine as my specialty both because of the huge breadth of services I can provide, and because it allows me to focus on preventive care. I don't feel like I got a very good complete physical exam. Felt rushed. Asked very few questions. Compared to my husband's recent physical, I got inadequate care. We're the same age for reference.
