About

My path to medicine was anything but a straight line, and that's what makes it meaningful. Early in my academic career, I earned a master's degree in forensic genetics. Over time, though, I realized that path wasn't the right fit. My parents reminded me of something I had almost forgotten: from a very young age, I had always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Reflecting on that lifelong passion gave me the clarity I needed to return to school and pursue the career I was truly meant for.
