Novant has an untenable policy concerning annual follow-up appointment scheduling, in that they cannot be scheduled in advance. Dr. Calhoun and her staff had to resort to "shoe-horning" my appointment in within the present scheduling window to maintain my physician/patient continuity. Prescription meds, patient planning, etc., are adversely affected by this highly non-standard practice.

I am literally trusting Dr Calhoun with my life and she makes me feel safe. I will have a future due to her diligence

The scheduling of appointments is RIDICULOUS! I called to get an appointment and the "doctors calendar" was always "not turned in yet"! I called 5 different times to make an appointment and was told "calendar hasn't been released yet so we can't make you an appointment ." It is RIDICULOUS! Make docs turn in the calendar ON TIME!

My experience was very good as usual. However, I am disappointed that Novant has started charging me for sending messages to my providers. The last hospital owners encouraged me to use MyChart. Obviously Novant must not want it to be used.
