About

Much of my background in medicine involved working with the medically underserved in Birmingham, Alabama. It is my joy to provide excellent medical care - offered with love - to anyone who comes into my clinic, no matter what their walk of life.

I'm also passionate about women's health. It's important to me to see women being offered options and guidance for their health that allow them to feel empowered to make good decisions for themselves.

Dr. Salisbury really was such an incredible provider! All of her reviews are spot on. She listens to her patients and offers thoughtful feedback and suggestions. Could not recommend her more!

African American women have long faced disparities in medical care, and through my own experiences, I can attest that those disparities are real. Like many other Black women, I have searched for physicians who reflect my background and lived experience. Despite my efforts, I was not successful in finding that match. As I continued my search for a new physician, I realized I needed to expand my criteria beyond race alone. I began looking for a holistic provider-someone who would truly listen, understand, and treat me as a whole person. That search led me to Dr. Salisbury. From the moment I scheduled my new patient appointment, and especially throughout our conversation, I found her to be genuine, attentive, and deeply committed to understanding my concerns. She acknowledged the disparities Black women face and created space for me to be heard-something that cannot be taken for granted. For me, this experience reinforced an important truth: while representation matters, so does a provider's willingness to listen, respect, and deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care.
