10/10 Dr. Parker listened to me, explained the treatment options and very clearly told me how she could advocate for me regarding what treatment plans we could pursue. She even asked my pronouns and made me feel comfortable in expressing my genuine preference rather than me just giving the answer people expect to hear. As a gender noncomforming person who has undergone a medical transition, I was DELIGHTED to be treated and seen in such a way that I felt comfortable talking to my provider. This visit got to be about my migraines instead of unrelated medical and social decisions because Dr. Parker made me feel comfortable.As a fat patient, I am deeply grateful that she listened to my issues and did not at all bring up my weight. I feel very confident that I was able to provide relevant information about my symptoms and that Dr. Parker cared about treating me and developed a very promising treatment plan going forward. Unless this survey is actually for the atrium doctor I saw the day after. If this is for that cardiologist, my responses would be Very Different. But I think this is for Novant...
