Dr. Evans is without a doubt the best neurologist, and perhaps even the best doctor I have ever seen. He is kind, compassionate, and thorough. He explains everything very clearly, expresses any reservations he has in terms that make sense, is quick to defer to a specialist for an answer he is not confident in (as in this case, where he referred me to a specialist Vascular Neurologist, but still offered his own proposals and explanations where merited), and he always, always ensures that I hear what he says, gives me all the opportunity to express my own concerns (which he promptly addresses), and is clear in his explanations. Novant is quite fortunate to have Dr. Evans in their practice!
