About

My love of science has always been at the heart of my path in medicine. That curiosity started in a high school anatomy and physiology class, and it never left. Getting to combine what I learned there, in undergrad and in graduate school, with taking care of people in my community is something I find deeply meaningful.

I have been a nurse since 1991 and earned my master's degree and family nurse practitioner credential in 2009. Since then, I have been working in urology.

The office was short on nursing staff that day due to testing. The doctor absorbed those duties personally and still gave me a full, unhurried visit - clear explanations, real attention to my questions, and I was included in the decisions about my care. Doing that well while covering two roles says a lot.
