About
My mother has always been a role model for me. She was a family practice and allergy nurse for 20 years before she went back to school to become a nurse practitioner. I am inspired by her lifelong love of learning and drive to help people, particularly the veterans she cared for during her 15 years with Veterans' Affairs. She taught me that patients and their families are at the very center of everything we do in healthcare, and made me know how I wanted to care for my own patients.
