I disliked that I was notified about labwork and to be fasting. Having the unknown urine specimen was subjected to the following; 1. I came in fasting as requested,only drank enough water to swallow daily meds. Was asked asked if I could give urine specimen,I explained I hadn't drank much fluid that morning it was before 8am. I came in fasting and unknowing about urine specimen. 2. Was told by nurse not to run water,flush toilet or wash hands upon giving urine specimen. (THATS A DRUG SCREEN TEST) Not a urine specimen. 3. I had planned on running faucet for water acoustics to help me pee. Many men due this for urine specimen if we just went (Living less that 10mi away) no knowing I had a urine specimen. THIS WAS A DRUG SCREENING. (No water running,no flushing,no washing hands nurse will be waiting outside the door. That really helped me provide what was not a urine sample,IT WAS A DRUG SCREEN. I feel as though my visit was more governed than provided for my diagnosis........ 3. The Government guidelines to me are less important than my health when I come for a visit. If I find that my MEDICARE is billed for screening as it was not for my benefit, I'm going to dispute the screening. I had a screening within 2hrs of that one at another facility that is approved and analysis reliable. This is to protect me from GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED health care. You may call it what you like. When my Dr does what the Government says to do,instead of while it's my health visit, I become concerned on whim the importance is directed at?????? I'm tired of hearing that Government requires more of me,I'm fine giving them urine in another way. I misunderstood the urine specimen as lab use for health diagnosis. I am not a drug abuser nor user until it was a drug screening........ THAT UPSETS ME.... I am considering going where I don't feel treated as one. I've been there longer than every person I seen. 4. DO YOU DRUG SCREEN ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES EVERY 3 MONTHS? I can take more than 4 people with me when I leave. I think I see why this practice has such a large turnover of Doctors.... which I'm tired of also.. NEVER THE SAME DOCTOR THERE......SAYS ALOT TO ME.... BUILD THE TREATMENT INTO THE MACHINE YOU SERVE NOT A TREATMENT FOR THE PEOPLE. Way More Time Than YOU Deserve In This.!

I have been looking for a primary care provider that would really listen to me and not rush me off. Kara was a God sent. She has went above and beyond with helping me! She listened to me and right away started helping me. I have found my permanent provider.??

Just feel like no one will listen to me. I know my body and how this back surgery had made me hurt so bad and I need pain meds to help me time to time to control my blood pressure. And the pain. I don't need them all the time and I don't need many just enough to get the pain under control and my Blood pressure will be fine for months and time to time when it get this bad I need then but no one will listen and give me a chance to show what ever they have read about me. Let me show you. Just help me that's all I ask. Thank you

Upon leaving the office, I felt extremely valued as an individual and as a patient, which I had not experienced with a previous PCP (not affiliated with this clinic or Novant Health). Kara never led me to feel rushed during the appointment, and I look forward to having her as my provider for years to come.

It is reassuring to be able to go to this facility and get quality care from all the doctors that me and my wife have seen in the last 15 years. Having another doctor who is not familiar to me, and aware of my health issues, is a little uncomfortable but the fact that Kara took the time to really listen and ask questions, and then do a thorough examination, put my mind at ease, as to the care I would receive. I have a possible answer to my recent health concern.

Kara was amazing and so kind. Her aura was so great, she could have had butterflies flying around her. :) I teared up some during my appointment and she did not make me feel embarrassed to show emotions. I feel very comfortable around her and having a good PCP that listens to you and makes you feel OK to speak about emotional things is SO important. I received a letter today that they are already working on my referral to a psychiatrist... that is so much faster than what I am used to after moving back to NC from Maine. Met with new Doctor on 7/17. She was knowledgeable about my history. She is the first doctor I have visited since my Thyroid diagnoses that did not suggest changing my medication. She recognized the pattern of changing my medication due to thyroid condition. She suggested other options to find out why there is so much change in thyroid. Love that--on the first meeting. I was nervous due to changing doctors just in a few days but I am excited to meet with her and work together on my medical conditions.

After more than one dr checking me and being able to hear me wheezing, being treated for it finally made a huge impact. I’ve needed the inhaler prescribed twice since the appointment. She was so caring and made me feel comfortable about telling her what was wrong.

My Primary Physician was off but was offered an appointment right away with another provider. She was excellent, treated me very professionally, gave good, easy to understand, answers to my health issues and then provided written instructions as well.
