About

My path to medicine was shaped by two people who were very dear to me. As a teenager, I was by my grandmother's side as she passed from glioblastoma, and I helped care for my grandfather during his recovery from an acute myocardial infarction. Those experiences set me on my path to internal medicine, which I have been practicing for more than 25 years. The relationships I build with patients remain the most meaningful part of my work.
