Acting Internship

Thinking about joining our residency family? The best way to get a real feel for our program is by joining us for an acting internship (AI).

During this four-week rotation, you’ll become part of the care team — working alongside residents from all three years and attendings on our family medicine inpatient service and in our outpatient clinic. It’s your chance to see what life is really like here and get all your questions answered about rotations, learning opportunities, and work-life balance.

What you'll do

As an acting intern, you’ll:

  • Join inpatient and outpatient teams to care for real patients.
  • Work closely with residents and faculty.
  • Assist in procedures like colposcopy, dermatologic procedures, and circumcisions (as available).
  • Attend our resident conference series and engage in learning with the team.
