Novant Health Surry Medical Extended Care – Rockford is open six days a week to provide walk-in primary care to patients of all ages. Whether you are not feeling well, are seeking preventive care, or need a form completed for work or school, our providers are here for you, no appointment necessary. Our services include:

• Sick care
• Annual physicals
• Well-child checkups
• School, camp and sports physicals
• Childhood vaccines
• Annual flu shots
• Management of chronic diseases including obesity, diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), heart disease and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• Women’s health services including Pap tests, pelvic exams, care for gynecologic problems, and contraception information and prescriptions
• Lab services including urinalysis, blood tests, rapid strep tests and rapid flu tests
• Audiograms (hearing checks)
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs; to measure heart function)
• Holter monitoring (to measure heart function over time)
• Pediatric hearing and vision screenings
• Pulmonary function testing (to check lung function)
