At Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care - Leland, we focus on family medicine, meaning the family is the primary unit of care. We get to know you along with those closest to you. We want to understand who and what is most important to you, and then we look for ways you can support each other in good health. This also means that when illness strikes your family, you can all get care in one convenient location from providers you know.

We offer walk-in medical care for minor illnesses and injuries for patients ages three months and older. We aim to get you the care you need, seven days a week, so you can start to feel better quickly and get back to your busy life.

Our family medicine services include:

Same-day and next-day sick visits
Newborn care
Well-child checkups
Annual physicals
School, sports and employment physicals
Vaccines, including childhood vaccines and annual flu shots
Care for chronic conditions, including asthma, hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol and diabetes
Routine gynecologic care, including Pap tests, pelvic exams and post-menopausal care
Lab tests including blood tests, rapid flu and strep tests, and urinalysis
X-rays
Ultrasounds

Our walk-in clinic treats the following illnesses, injuries and conditions:

Allergies
Respiratory and sinus infections
Sore throat/strep throat
Earaches, swimmer’s ear and earwax buildup
Flu and gastrointestinal issues
Pinkeye, eye styes and corneal abrasions
Urinary tract/bladder infections
Insect bites/stings
Minor cuts and burns
Sprains/strains/tendinitis
Suture/staple removal
Rashes and skin infections

Our walk-in clinic also offers:

Common vaccines including flu shots
Flu and strep tests
COVID-19 testing by appointment only. Results available in 2-3 days.
Common blood tests
Urine and pregnancy tests
Vision screenings
Travel health screenings
Required physical exams for employment, camp, college and sports participation
