The providers at Novant Health Surgical Oncology – Autumn Hall will work with other providers already involved in your care to make sure you get precisely the surgical treatment you need.
Our team specializes in treating multiple types of cancer including cancers of the breast, stomach, pancreas, liver, bile duct, gallbladder and thyroid, as well as melanoma and sarcoma. Your providers will ensure your surgical procedure is integrated seamlessly with the rest of your treatment plan. You will have opportunities to ask questions and get all the information you need to make the most informed decisions about your health.
Our clinic is on Currituck Road, near Eastwood Road (Highway 74). You can reach us by taking Market Street (Business 17) to Eastwood Road and heading towards the coast, or by taking Military Cutoff Road (Highway 17) to Eastwood Road and heading west. We are close to Mayfaire, Landfall, Wrightsville Beach and the University of North Carolina – Wilmington.

The team at Novant Health Surgical Oncology – Autumn Hall is wholly devoted to surgery as part of cancer treatment plans. Whether surgery comes at the beginning of your treatment plan, or after you have had other cancer treatment before reaching our clinic, we will ensure you understand your options, and have the information you need to make informed decisions about your care.
We offer surgical procedures including:
- Liver resections and ablative procedures (removal of parts of the liver)
- Pancreatic and complex biliary procedures
- Gastrectomy (removal of all or part of the stomach)
- Colorectal surgery
- Thyroidectomy (thyroid removal)
- Melanoma surgery (skin cancer removal)
- Sarcoma resection (skin cancer removal)
- Mastectomy and lumpectomy procedures (to remove some or all breast tissue)
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy and regional lymph node dissection (to determine if cancer has spread)
- Head and neck surgery
- Cytoeducative surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotheraphy (HIPEC) (a surgical and chemotherapy combined approach to remove visible tumor from the abdominal cavity)
- Port placement procedures (for chemotherapy access)
- Minimally invasive and robotic surgery
