Medical Associates of the Lowcountry Neurology – Bluffton diagnoses and manages neurological conditions in adults ages 18 and older. Our team has the tools necessary to investigate your concern and provide you with options for managing or treating it. And, we will be here to see you through any management plan.

We evaluate and manage a variety of neurological conditions, including:

  • Memory impairment
  • Alzheimer’s disease (a brain disorder that is a common cause of dementia)
  • Movement disorders
  • Parkinson’s disease (PD; a nervous system disorder that causes tremors and difficulty moving)
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS; a disorder in which the covering of nerve cells in the brain and spine are damaged)
  • Migraines and other headaches
  • Neuropathy
  • Myasthenia gravis (MG; an autoimmune disease that causes voluntary muscles to become weak or tire easily)
  • Tremors
  • Epilepsy/seizures (a brain disorder caused by atypical electrical activity in the brain)

Additional services

We also offer nerve conduction testing with electromyograms (EMG). This allows your provider to assess your nerve function as well as the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles.
