Novant Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic brings together a team of providers with years of experience and those who are just committing their careers to family medicine. This means that not only can you get care in one convenient office for your entire life, but that your entire family can visit the same provider as well. This lets us get to know you and those closest to you, not just as patients but as people. It also means that if an illness or other concern affects more than one member of your family, your provider can help all of you at once.

Our services include:

• Same-day and next-day sick visits
• Newborn care
• Lactation help for parents of nursing babies
• Well-child checkups
• Immunizations and vaccinations, including the annual flu vaccine
• Annual physical exams
• Women’s health services including annual gynecologic care, pelvic exams, Pap tests, breast exams and care for gynecologic concerns
• Contraception prescriptions and placement of permanent birth control such as Nexplanon and intrauterine devices (IUDs)
• School, camp, sports and work physicals
• Management for chronic conditions including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, depression, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, hypertension (high blood pressure) and osteoporosis
• Lab tests including blood draws, urinalysis, rapid strep and flu tests
• X-rays
• Ultrasounds
• Evaluation and excision of skin lesions, and skin biopsies
• Wart removal
• Ingrown nail removal
• Osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) to treat musculoskeletal issues
