East Cooper Center for Pelvic Medicine – Goose Creek makes it easy for you to get the pelvic care you need. In our office, you will have access to a team of providers devoted to pelvic health. You will also be able to get all necessary diagnostic testing so we can get a clear picture of your condition.

We treat conditions including:

• Urinary incontinence (inability to hold urine)
• Interstitial cystitis (inflammation or irritation of the bladder wall)
• Urge incontinence (sudden urges to empty the bladder)
• Weak bladder (stress incontinence; inability to hold urine while sneezing, doing physical activity, etc.)
• Overactive bladder (OAB; when the bladder contracts when not full)
• Urine leakage
• Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse (pelvic organs dropping into the vagina)

We also offer:

• Catheter care and instructions
• Pessary treatment (a plastic device that helps with female bladder leakage)
• Urodynamics (tests to gather information about the urinary tract)
• Cystoscopy (a procedure to examine the bladder and urethra)
• Urethral bulking (injection treatment to combat urinary leakage)
• Trigger point injections (BOTOX; to help with leakage)
• Pelvic reconstructive surgery
• Laparoscopic and robotic (minimally invasive) surgery
• Peripheral nerve evaluation (PNE; a test to determine whether nerve stimulation could control bowel leakage or urinary tract dysfunction)
• InterStim Therapy for bladder and/or bowel control (a treatment for overactive bladder)
