Heartstrings

The Novant Health Maya Angelou Women’s Health & Wellness Center partners with Heartstrings, which is a program available in the community to provide support groups, Connections one-on-one support and the Subsequent Pregnancy Support program. For those who are not ready to share in a group, the one-on-one support enables them to build close friendships with someone who has had the same experience. In addition, subsequent pregnancies can be an anxious time so Heartstrings provides assistance as families prepare for the arrival of another child.

Each year, the Novant Health Maya Angelou Women's Health & Wellness Center organizes Walk for Remembrance & Hope, which is a time of remembrance for families who want to honor a child they lost. This event is held in Lewisville. Stay tuned for the next one.
