For the team, it's not just about fighting COVID-19, it's about caring for our patients with the same mission, vision and values they use every day in their clinics. Andrew Stehberger, a clinic administrator, was blown away when he saw the teamwork in action. "What has impressed me the most is they seem to communicate without speaking. You can see they have bonded so much and know exactly what each and every person's role is on the team, and this results in an amazing experience for our patients." Andrew admits he was unsure about what to expect before coming to work at the RAC, but the team made a huge difference. "I saw a group of people that jumped at the chance to help an entire community when it was in need. You can tell they have seen a lot together, and it has made them extremely close." Some team members are now saying goodbye to their RAC team because they are needed in their home clinic. It has been difficult to leave the people they now consider family. Andrew hopes everyone notices the remarkable commitment of the COVID conquerors, "The whole community should be saying thank you to them and recognizing that our RACs our filled with heroes."
