Thriving Together

Together, we can envision a path to empowerment

Novant Health is driven by its mission and guided by its values. The collective sum of our parts is what allows us to make an enormous impact in the lives of the people in our communities.

Healthcare presents unique challenges, pressures and intensity which can impact each of us. We all know there are times and circumstances that compel us simply to be in "survival mode." This is normal and expected. The question is how do we personally and collectively thrive in this environment? What does thriving mean to each of us individually? What does thriving as a family, a team and an organization look and feel like?

Thriving together is a concerted campaign that will support our collective, holistic well-being and enhance our ability to flourish in the face of challenge, in times of crisis.

Resiliency is a unique and renewable energy source that lives within each one of us regardless of our background, personal characteristics or experiences. We believe our ability to awaken, cultivate and harness this “power” within is a skill that can be built through intention and practice.

Diversity, inclusion and equity in a crisis

Usually in a crisis we discover in the moment what really matters. We are forced to apply focus on the critical issues just to get through the crisis. What is important is that we learn from those moments so that we can thrive long after the crisis ends.
