Getting a second opinion
After being diagnosed with cancer, you may want a second opinion from a trusted source. Our multidisciplnary clinics allow you to meet with our top cancer experts – all in one place, at one time and focused on your care. This is a chance to learn more about your condition and ask questions that address your concerns.
After you meet with members of the team, the panel will discuss and recommend a plan for your care. If a clinical trial is available that might be right for you, a research coordinator will meet with you to explain your options and answer your questions.
If you have a strong family history of cancer or questions about genetics, cancer genetic counseling may be available. Genetic counseling can help you understand the benefits of genetic testing and when such tests might be appropriate.
