After being diagnosed with cancer, you may want a second opinion from a trusted source. Patients from all 50 states travel to the Novant Health Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic in Charlotte to meet with our top cancer experts – all in one place, at one time and focused on your care. This is a chance to learn more about your condition and ask questions that address your concerns. After you meet with members of the team, the panel will discuss and recommend a plan for your care. If a clinical trial is available that might be right for you, a research coordinator will meet with you to explain your options and answer your questions. If you have a strong family history of cancer or questions about genetics, cancer genetic counseling may be available. Genetic counseling can help you understand the benefits of genetic testing and when such tests might be appropriate.

You can find a team of experts dedicated to treating these hepatobiliary tumors at the Novant Health Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic in Winston-Salem. If you have had a diagnosis of hepatobiliary cancer or pancreatic cancer, you can visit the clinic for a consultation with our cancer-care experts. You will be invited to listen and ask questions as they discuss your condition and develop a care plan for you.
