- PCI, which measures outcomes of patients undergoing diagnostic cauterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).
- STS, which were developed by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) to measure quality performance and are endorsed by the National Quality Forum.
We believe the best way to compare hospital data is by using a reliable national organization that measures quality among U.S. hospitals in a standardized way. Novant Health voluntarily submits cardiac surgical procedure data and cardiac catheterization data to several nationally recognized data registries.
