Amazing Experience! I am a new forever patient!

at age 63 I've seen many doctors and other medical professionals over the years, and I've also worked with many physicians and other healthcare professionals as a clinical psychologist. I was very pleased and happy to receive such excellent care during my first visit after moving to Charlotte from Idaho.

Dr Mawuse Gbegnon was exceptional, kind, humorous, thoughtful, courteous, gracious and professional. Patient with my questions, artful in explaining anything I didn't understand or needed clarity on and on compassionate in helping me understand next steps and on things we can co-partner on in my health care. Dr. Gbegnon and everyone I've come in contact with (doctors, nurses, technicians, administrative, etc.,) have ALL been excellent!

As a foreigner coming to this country I had an awful experience at my last provider in Berewick. I was very apprehensive going to my appointment considering how incredibly bad and frustrating my precious experience from 2022 had gone and I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone from the kind attendant that scheduled my appointment to front desk to the doctor and the nurses were just the best. Best treatment in healthcare I've had in America within the last 12 months. Nobody seems to be rushing you , and I felt really heard and seen , even though it was just the annual appointment. I would recommend everyone at Novant has a one day internship at Novant Steele Creek if they need to learn excellence in care! I applaud and commend all the staff there!

Good visit with the Dr. I’m new to Charlotte, so I needed a good physician. Dr. Gbegnon understood my needs, my condition, my medications, and helped guide me to the resources I need for tests. He also gave a referral to a specialist. I’m happy with the office and care so far.

He followed up with a thorough summary of my visit on My Chart, along with two phone calls, from him personally, to explain an addition to my treatment plan and to check on how I was feeding two days later. He’s just the kind of doctor I’ve been looking for; one who is caring, listens, asks questions and follows through thoroughly.
