While I've worked with many patients over my career, I've always felt a special connection when working with women and older adults.
When you trust me with your health, I want you to feel like you've been heard and valued. I'll spend time learning about your health issues, as well as how they impact your daily life so we can find a way to improve your well-being.
I have decades of experience in nursing, including more than a decade on the faculty at the UNC Greensboro School of Nursing, where I earned their Teaching Excellence Award.
A wife and mother of two young men, I hail from the North Carolina mountains and have lived in the Piedmont Triad for more than 20 years. We are an outdoorsy family that spends a great deal of time hiking, boating, skiing and camping. Most of our adventures include our dogs, although we are equal cat and dog lovers. I love to travel abroad and have participated in medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Peru.
