Growing up with several close family members in the medical field made me familiar with many of the medical careers available and inspired me to explore more. During high school, I was fortunate to participate in several medical missions alongside medical professionals serving the care needs of vulnerable populations around the world. These experiences showed me the impact quality care can have on both individuals and communities. I became a doctor myself so I could be a part of that.
