They didn't do blood work at this visit, but in the past, they did. Perhaps it wasn' t time for it to be done. I didn't think to ask Dr.Hollandsworth when I was there. However, when I used to go to Novant Health Care in Winston-Salem, blood work was done every time. They gave me an appointment for blood work 1 week prior to my appointment & the doctor would always discuss the results with me when I arrived to see him. I wish they would do this at the Walkertown location.

Staff is professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Hollingsworth is patient focused and never hurried or cursory during my visits. In terms of my personal healthcare and medical decision making, I trust him in the lead role.

I was raised in a small town in the mountains of West Virginia. My father was a greatest generation World War II veteran who instilled into me the values of diligence, integrity and compassion. When I was growing up, I thought about how I could blend these values with use my skills and gifts to serve people; medicine seemed a natural choice.

Today, I feel honored and grateful to be a physician. I enjoy helping people improve their health and understand both wellness and disease. To me, medicine is about much more than just prescribing pills - it's about holistically helping people heal throughout their lives and become the best version of themselves. As a family physician, I feel that I am in a special place to directly impact people's lives in a variety of ways every day, and I'm very grateful for that opportunity.

I am also grateful to be married to my wonderful wife and fellow Disney fan, Tina. We have four grown children and four dogs that keep us both busy and loved. I enjoy reading, writing, taking in the beauty of nature and always pursuing my personal and spiritual growth.
