Dr Tighe is an exemplary, skilled and diligent MD. He is kind and listens carefully. My personal health issues are complicated and he is always looking to find answers. He explains details about my health and is quick to research a bit to see what the next steps should be, including referrals if needed. Unfortunately the support staff makes frequent errors resulting in delayed referrals, incomplete or incorrect paperwork and input into health data. They seem to enjoy working together and the camaraderie is evident. Sometimes this may be a distraction from the need for accuracy, professional ambience and expedience in patient’s care.

Always treated with care and respect

Novant Pine Forest is like going to my family doctor (same person) for 40 years.

I am VERY happy with the medical care I always receive from Dr. Tighe and everyone at the Novant Pine Forest office. And that includes the nurse practitioners, the nurses, the phlebotomists and the support staff that handles appointment scheduling and other office matters. The facility being about 5 minutes walking distance from my home is icing on the cake.

I did come to my appointment 20 minutes ahead of schedule as requested. Then sat in the too for over 20 for the nurse. Then another 30 minutes before the doctor came in. He’s wonderful. But I will never come 20 minutes early again.
