I never feel I am being rushed and I appreciate that Sandy Shaver takes the time to answer my questions as well as listen when I answer hers. I feel very well taken care of at this office. I always recommend her when anyone I know is looking for a more caring and knowledgeable physician.

Finally a doctor that cares.

My appt with Ms.Shaver was to assess the pain in my left knee. I’m 79+ years old and have very few pains and when this hit me it was excruciating and it really knocked me down in lifestyle. She assessed me, recommended X-rays and away I went. She also took a urine sample, and they told the story of my pain. Great amounts of fluids had invaded my knee. She recommended rest and care for the knee and it is improving greatly each day. I greatly appreciate her being on my medical team for my care and can always be reassured of good care for me and my wife.

They were on time with my appointment time.Ask me if I had any questions before releasing me.Also to be sure and call if I had any further questions.Oh yes a nurse called after my visit about my test results.

Upon arrival I was concerned there might be a long wait for my appointment, the parking was completely full. The wait time was not what I expected! I was immediately called back after check-in process. I had to wait a little while for the provider to see me but I was notified how long the wait would be. Not long at all. Even though the provider was “behind” she didn’t rush through my appointment time. She was thorough, professional and super pleasant. The entire medical team worked very well together. Sandy Shaver is such a wonderful provider, very knowledgeable, understanding…well, all the characteristics a medical professional should exhibit! In my opinion she’s the best! Novant is very fortunate to have her as well as the rest of the staff involved with my care! They were top notch even on a super busy Tuesday, 06/06/2023!
