What to expect
Selected advisors may be contacted by a representative at a local facility to complete an application and schedule an interview. Advisors participate in monthly meetings that last about 90 minutes. Lunch or dinner is usually provided.

Who: Anyone 18 or older is eligible to apply to join an advisory council.
What: Once you the complete the sign-up process we will reach out to talk about next steps.
Where: In-person or virtual sessions are scheduled every other month. When in-person, meetings happen at local hospitals or doctors’ offices.

Why: It’s important for us to hear the voices of our patients and their loved ones to improve the patient experience.
How: Advisors hear presentations from Novant Health departments and are asked to give their feedback.
