- Winston-Salem: The Cancer Pro Bono Project offers free legal services to cancer patients at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, including help with advance directives. This is a program offered by Wake Forest University School of Law, attorneys at Womble Carlyle and Novant Health.
- Charlotte: The free legal clinic at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center offers cancer patients an opportunity to participate in Healthcare Power of Attorney and living will information sessions and also allows them to schedule a date to complete these documents with the help of a law student. This clinic is made possible by a collaboration with the Charlotte School of Law and lawyers from the Charlotte offices of Womble Carlyle. Call 704-384-5223 to schedule an appointment.
