Winston-Salem, N.C. – Novant Health recently announced an adjustment to its current minimum wage from $12.50 per hour to $15 per hour. This change benefits more than 2,000 team members and will be effective January 2021.
“Novant Health is dedicated to caring for our communities, starting with our own team members,” said Carl Armato, president and CEO, Novant Health. “Though we’ve adjusted our living wage over the past several years, we recognized an opportunity to further invest in our team members to ensure they have the resources they need to live and thrive in the communities we serve.”
In 2017, Novant Health implemented a minimum wage of $11 per hour in North Carolina, a rate based on local costs of living over and above the state-mandated minimum wage, commonly referred to as a living wage. In 2018, the living wage was adjusted to $12.50 per hour. Novant Health is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits packages.
